Plastic bags are everywhere in our daily life. While a convenient means of transporting groceries, plastic bags negatively affect the environment and waste valuable resources. This is where our idea for the “Seeds” app stems from. “Seeds” is an app working as a platform to support a consumer-led campaign for preventing plastic bag pollution while developing a sense of community. The Seeds app allows users to save and track their savings seamlessly with a user-friendly interface. Users can see how much local stores save by reducing plastic bags, making the donations more transparent. The objective is to create a platform that supports a consumer-led campaign of environmental conservation and community development.
